If the key light is on in the dash, the Jeep is not recognizing the RFID in the key. So I drove jeep to the dealer. At the dealership I shut it down and tried to start it again and heck, it starts no problem, I did it again and it starts no problem. All sounds like battery, but then again, my battery is new, all the lights were working fine, even headlight worked no problem, but I could not start the jeep.

Engine turns over but will not fire up or sputter. Fuel pump runs and there is fuel pressure at the supply line but I do not smell fuel if the pedal is pumped so I don’t know if it is getting through the injectors. unplug your fuel line from the rail. Have one guy sit in the jeep and turn the key over, but DO NOT START!! Have the other guy holding the fuel line and w/ a coke bottle or something to catch the fuel. If you have fuel as soon as you turn over the key... your pump is fine.
